Dan Gross has nearly a decade in recording and video experience. In 2024, he launched his new production company, Stereo Field Recordings.

He got his audio/video start doing the Rochester Indie Musician Spotlight in 2016, a program that featured local (and mostly young) independent musicians at Bop Shop Records. The spiritual successor to that series was Songs from Studio B, a project he produced at News 8 from 2021-2024.

Shortly after launching the Spotlight, he began recording and producing videos for Bop Shop Records and has been there since.
