Our goal is to raise $20,000 to support the launch and growth of our new studio.

The first $10,000 will help us hit the ground running on move-in day – covering essential setup costs and equipment purchases.

From there, additional funds will allow us to create the warm and welcoming community space we want this to be, complete with a custom stage for performances, instruments for our little Music Makers, and a real office space for our staff.

We are moving from our beloved first studio on Railroad Street to Downtown Rochester at East and Alexander on May 1.

What we’re so excited about for this new space:

• First floor access, with a store-front window: this will not only be physically more accessible than our current 3rd-floor walk-up, but it will also provide us with more visibility to pedestrians in Downtown Roc

• We are growing, and Rochester is showing up! A larger space means more opportunity to say YES to things we previously could not. Hosting shows or events, taking on more Music Makers classes, and hopefully many other pipe-dream projects!

• This is bigger than a space. We set out 4 years ago to change the systems that aren’t working for musicians in Rochester. To do that, we realized we needed to build and redefine a culture of what music can provide our world by creating an ecosystem that invests in musicians of all levels. This new space is proof that our investments into musicians – from the tykes in our Music Makers classes and the new artists curious about the industry, to the professional, full-timers we support with the Artist Grants Program – are working.

And if that’s the case…then we have only just begun! We could not have done any of this without you – can’t wait to see you in Downtown Roc soon.
