Media

Because how we share our story can elevate our craft.

We all wish sharing music with the world was as easy as it sounds. You practice your instrument. You write your songs. You play live shows. And that would be that. But the reality is that today our virtual world is shifting in so many ways, and figuring out how best we can use media as a tool for connection is the puzzle we want to help you solve.

So check out our new video series “The Local Sound Sessions” and stay tuned for more media developments and opportunities through the collaborative!

Key Change Podcast

Music has the power to do so much more than we realize. It impacts our mental health, it builds community, and it brings joy to the listener. But the reality is independent artists and local musicians are struggling to keep their artistic endeavors afloat. You have often heard of the "struggling artist" but where does this idea come from? And why can't we change that?

You have an opportunity with this podcast to take that first step towards change. “Key Change” is an attempt at hosting different conversations between musicians about their careers and experiences in their local music bubbles. And through these stories, we believe we can build empathy for our artists, and enhance an already growing music scene.

A Network of Talent

We are slowly growing our community or musicians, artists, and creatives that want to work and partner with other folks in the scene. Videographers, visual artists, sound engineers, and more are working hard in the area to make the music possible. Do you need a photo shoot done? Or a video made? Maybe an album cut or even tips on how to book your first tour?

At the Local Sound Collaborative we strive to connect folks with professional people who are incredibly talented, and who get the job done.
