  • J. Lamar Hannah

    Lamar describes himself as a health hop artist. He was born and raised in Rochester, NY but found his voice in New York City, and brought his talents back home to treat and teach the community, using art and intellect to push progress. “I'm a rebel with no fore father figures, and Nina Simone taught me to reflect the times, so I use music to accurately reflect mine. Oh yeah, and I'm a therapist.”

  • Zwena The Muse

    ZWENA was born in the nation's capital and raised in PG County, Maryland. Officially since 2020, during her college career at the University of Rochester, she has become a self-taught singer, songwriter, and producer. She describes herself to be “The One messenger and healer of infinite love.” Her distinct style is what she calls Soular Music, with influences of the African Diaspora: jazz, reggae, neo soul, afrobeats, indie, and more. ZWENA's musical practice pays homage to her own healing journey and forever-evolving identity. When she graduated, the Rochester arts community fully embraced and molded her into a community organizer, teacher and performing artist.

  • Christopher Xu

    Christopher is a guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist who has been a part of the Rochester music scene for over 10 years. He explores and incorporates Chinese and Chinese diasporic identity, culture, and music/traditions which have not been typically a part of the American musical narrative even though Chinese and AAPI have been a part of America for centuries. “I seek to empower and unite communities through my music.”

  • Thalia Pabon

    Thalia was born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico and has called Rochester home since 1995. She is a self-taught vocalist, cultural advocate, and proud minority woman business owner, using music to tell her story and uplift others like her. She co-founded Sonidos Unidos with her brother, later launched Bachata Rebelde, and has had the honor of performing at festivals like ROC Con Power, the Rochester International Jazz Festival, and the Puerto Rican Festival. Her song “Yo Soy Latina,” supported by Creative Rebuild New York, became a personal anthem of pride and representation. “With Fuego y Pasión, I’m continuing my mission to amplify voices that are often overlooked—because I know what it means to be underestimated and still rise.”

  • Cinnamon Rayne

    Cinnamon Rayne (Cinnamon David) is a multi-hyphenated artist whose exploration of different aspects of music and sound is incorporated into her signature style. Her music could be described as a mixture of indie, pop, singer-songwriter, alternative, and R&B. Cinnamon enjoys fusing different genres because it allows creative freedom; she believes music should not be restricted and bound to a genre.

    She states her music is a healing journey that she finds comfort in. Cinnamon obtained an Associate's degree in Music Recording from Finger Lakes Community College in 2017, Bachelor's degree in Audio Production at Hampton University in 2019, and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Music Studies at Berklee College of Music focusing on music business, music production, and songwriting in 2024.

  • Sabrina Nichols

    Sabrina is a self taught musician, born in Rochester. She’s lived in a few other cities but ultimately keeps coming back here because she loves this city. She plays in a several bands, volunteers at the Psychic Garden (a fully DIY venue), and generally spends her time being involved in and supporting the music scene in Rochester. She writes her own songs and leads 4 piece band called Shep Treasure.

    “Recently I realized I need to put some more focus into that project- for myself and for those who help me with it. Shep Treasure has helped me find belonging in a community, its how I've made almost all my friends, and is a form of self-expression for me that is necessary for my well being. Its something I hope to always continue working on, and I hope it keeps evolving as I learn more and more about myself, music, and life!”

  • Adrianna Noone

    Adrianna Noone is an indie/folk/Americana singer-songwriter from Rochester, NY, known for her soulful voice and poignant songwriting. Performing both solo and with her self-titled band, she’s shared the stage with Brandi Carlile, opened for Lyle Lovett and Jade Bird, and toured extensively throughout the East Coast and Midwest. With rootsy melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Adrianna’s music captures the quiet power of honest storytelling—drawing listeners in with every note.
